What Does Housecliq Offer?

You can book tasks in a variety of categories including (but not limited to) Repairing, Servicing, Cleaning, Running Errands, Moving, and more. Whether you need monthly cleanings or assistance assembling furniture, Housecliq can connect you with an independent contractor in your area.

How Do I Tip My Service Professional?

You can tip the service professional on the website/mobile application, or you may tip the service professional any amount of your preference in cash.

Remember tipping is optional. Service Professionals receive 100% of their tips in addition to their task fees.

What's the Cancellation/Refund Policy?

Housecliq believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately within 120 Seconds (as displayed in online timer on the app/website) after requesting the service. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the request have been communicated to the Service Professional and they have accepted the request.
  • Housecliq is not guarantee the quality or provide any warranty for any item purchased through Service Professional for effective service which may include any part or fitting material. The same may be purchased by you at your end as well and Housecliq does not encourage purchase or encourage purchase of any goods/material through Service Professional.
  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.
  • In case of complaints regarding quality of service or behavior of Service Professional kindly e-mail your complaint @ grievanceofficer@housecliq.com Our Service team will take a decision and inform within 72 hours.
  • In case of any Refunds approved by Housecliq, it'll take 9-15 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

What's the Registration Fee?

No registration fees is charged by Housecliq for creating an account.

However, Housecliq may launch premium membership deals with certain offers from time to time.

Do I Have to Be Home When My Service/Task is ongoing?

You are responsible for overseeing and directing the work of your Service Professional. Housecliq does not direct, or oversee the work of Service Professionals, as they are independent contractors hired by Clients. If you won't be home for the service/task you may authorize an adult at your home for doing the same and upload such information on the Housecliq website/mobile application.

If you fail to do so, your Service Professional will attempt to get that information from you through the service chat thread or over phone call.

Who Are Service Professionals?

Service Professionals are independent contractors who work for themselves and are not employed by Housecliq.

Service Professionals bring a lot of personal experience and expertise but are not licensed professionals. Per our Terms of Service, Housecliq is a facilitation platform that connects Clients and Service Professionals. Housecliq does not offer licensed professional services.

If your task requires a license, please reach out to a professional service provider in that field.

Can I Contact a Service Professional Before Booking a Task?

For privacy reasons, you won't be able to contact a Service Professional before booking a task. However, you can talk to your Service Professional before any work is completed.

Before choosing a Service Professional, it can help to:

  • Check Service Professionals' profiles.
  • Read reviews left by Clients.
  • Look over their service rates.

Once you've hired a Service Professional, you'll be able to send a message or call them through the Housecliq app. If you decide the Service Professional isn't the best fit for your task, you can always cancel the task.

How Do I Contact Housecliq?

The primary way to reach Customer Support is through email here.

In the app's main navigation:

  1. Click on Profile then Support.
  2. Select "Support."
  3. Choose a topic from the drop-down and enter a short message.
  4. Click "Next" in the top right corner to begin the chat.

How Do I Pay My Service Professional?

There's no need for cash to change hands, as we're a cashless platform. Housecliq will invoice you as per the applicable service professional fees, facilitation charges and all other taxes and charges displayed on the website/mobile application at the time of booking the service plus any agreed-upon expenses.

Clients pay Service Professionals through Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. The entire payment process, including reimbursements, is handled securely through Razorpay using UPI, credit or debit card you entered when booking.

Why Shouldn't I Exchange Contact Information With My Service Professional?

We don't share info like your phone number or email address.

To protect your privacy, please do not exchange contact info with your Service Professional and keep all communication on the Housecliq platform.

How Do I Reschedule a Task?

To reschedule a task, contact your Service Professional in the chat thread and ask them to reschedule. They can work with you to find a new appointment time.

Remember we have a cancellation policy in the event a task is canceled or rescheduled 24 hours before it's appointment time.
